Five more new national records have been set on the second day of Bangabandhu 31st National Swimming, Diving and Water Polo competition held Wednesday at Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming complex in the city's Mirpur, reports BSS.
Bangladesh Navy's Kajol Mia set the new national mark in the men's 200m individual medley clocking 02:10.77 erasing his own previous mark of 02:12.05 which was made in 2021.
Bangladesh Navy's Mahmudunnobi Nahid set the new national record in the men's 50m butterfly clocking 00:25.69 eclipsing the previous record of 00:25.74 set by Bangladesh Army's swimmer Jewel Ahmed in 2005.
