Flame Boys beat Swatirtha 41-5

Flame Boys Club trounced Swatirtha Club by 41-5 goals in a match of the Marcel LED Television 1st Division Handball League at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.

Flame Boys dominated the first half by 25-2 goals. Munsi Omar Faruk scored 13 goals for the winners while Russell netted 3 goals for the losers.

In the other match, Jurain Janata Club of Jatrabari outplayed Purbachal Parisad by 24-18 goals.

The winning side dominated the first half by 15-12 goals. Shanewaz scored 8 goals for Jurain JC while Foysal netted 16 goals for Purbachal Parishad.

However, the last match of the league between Quantum Foundation and Flame Boys Club which was scheduled for November 2 has been shifted to November 10 due to unavoidable circumstances.
