Fortis beat Police FC

Fortis Football Club blanked Bangladesh Police Football Club by 2-1 goals in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League football held at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Friday, reports BSS.

In the day's match, Gambian forward Pa Omar Babou and Ukrainian forward Valeriy Gryshyn scored one goal each for Fortis after leading the first half by 1-0 goal. Colombian midfielder Mateo Palacios netted a lone goal for Police FC.

Pa Omar Babou put Fortis FC ahead in the 23rd minute while after the breather Valeriy Gryshyn doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 58th minute of the match.

Mateo Palacios pulled one back scoring a lone goal in the 90+3rd minute from a spot kick.

The day's win saw, Fortis FC moved to fifth position in the points table with 21 points from 17 matches while Police FC, who stand fourth position in the league table remained at their previous collection of 23 points playing the same number of matches.

Earlier in the first leg, Fortis Football Club defeated Bangladesh Police Football Club by the same identical margin of 2-1 goals held at Rajshahi district Stadium in Rajshahi.

Meanwhile, it was a magnificent display by Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society as they forced holders Bashundhara Kings to play a goalless draw in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League football held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

Despite the day's outcome, table topper Bashundhara Kings raised their tally 42 points from 17 matches while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj who stand ninth position in the league table, collected 13 points playing the same number of outings.
