Four teams reach zonal finals

Four district teams--Faridpur, Mymensingh, Jessore and Pabna DSAs--reached the zonal finals of the 29th National Cricket Championship eliminating their rivals at different venues Saturday, reports UNB.
At Faridpur Stadium, hosts Faridpur DSA (59/7) beat Madaripur DSA (58/10) by three wickets. They will play Shariatpur DSA in the zonal final today (Sunday).
At Tangail Stadium, Mymensingh DSA (103/4) defeated Jamalpur DSA (99/10) by six wickets to meet Dhaka DSA in the zonal final tomorrow (Monday).
At Jessore Stadium, the host team (182/6) eliminated Jhenidah (178/10) by four wickets. Jessore will play the zonal final Tuesday.
At Rajshahi Stadium, Pabna DSA (72/4) beat Bogra DSA (70/10) by six wickets to play Rangpur DSA in the zonal final today (Sunday).
In the day's other matches, Laxmipur DSA (151/10) defeated Bandarban DSA (126/10) by 25 runs at the Noakhali Stadium while Bhola DSA (150/6) beat hosts Pirojpur DSA (149/10) by four wickets at the Pirojpur Stadium.
