GENERAL WAKER LAYS FOUNDATION STONE OF ARMY SPORTS COMPLEX

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman lays the foundation stone of Army Sports Complex in the area adjacent to Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday. The sports complex -- aimed to be built as a modern and integrated sports infrastructure under the initiative of the army -- will have two indoor stadiums, a sports academy, gymnasium and modern sports science facilities. The sports complex will have special sections related to physiology, biomechanics, nutrition and sport medicine. Sportspersons of different levels will have the opportunity to gain modern training and research-based facilities.
