BERLIN, Jan 2 (AP): National team manager Oliver Bierhoff says Germany will face tough competition from Brazil, Spain and England when it aims for a fourth World Cup title in South Africa.
Bierhoff told Saturday's edition of Bild that Germany's minimum target is always the quarterfinal, but that "a nation like Germany must go into the World Cup with the aim of taking the title."
Asked who his favorites are, Bierhoff said: "Brazil, Spain, also England under coach (Fabio) Capello; then comes Germany."
