GM Niaz Murshed of Biman has collected 5.5 points and is sharing the second position along with other 5 players after end of the 7th round games of the 3rd Kuala Lumpur Chess Championship held Sunday at Kuala Lumpur, reports BSS.
GM Ziaur Rahman of Biman has earned 4.5 points out of 7 games.
In the 7th round game Niaz beat IM Khamrakulov Dzhurabek of Uzbekistan and Zia lost to IM Irwanto Saidikin of Indonesia.
GM Hou Yifan of China is solo leader at the points table with 6 points after the end of the 7th round games.
