Bangladeshi GM Ziaur Rahman finished 9th in Group A of the XVI Obert International Sant Marti Chess beating GM Perez Mitjans of Orelvis of Spain in the last and 9th round matches held on Monday in Barcelona, Spain, reports UNB.
Zia earned 6.5 points from nine matches and tied for the 6th to 9th places, but in the tie-breaker he finished 9th.
