After making his presentation Friday before the five-member coach interview panel of BCB, Australian cricket coach John Harmer conducted a practice session Saturday with the available contracted and Academy team players, reports UNB.
The current Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy coach conducted the three-hour batting and bowling session at the indoor facility of the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
The contracted players, who are not in the squad of the Twenty20 World Championship, attended the session with the 65-year-old Australian, an aspirant for the post of Bangladesh cricket coach. The players included former national skipper Habibul Bashar, Shahriar Nafees, Javed Omar, Tushar Imran, Shahadat Hossain Razib and Tapash Kumar Baishya.
After arriving here Thursday, Harmer made a marathon presentation Friday before the BCB interview board at the Board's Navana Tower Office in Gulshan.
Another short-listed candidate, Zimbabwean Dave Houghton will be the next to be interviewed by the Board in September, while Australian Jamie Siddons will be the 3rd to be interviewed.
