Hopman tennis Cup to stay in Perth

SYDNEY, Sept 4 (AFP): The Hopman Cup mixed teams tennis tournament will be staged in the city of Perth for another six years, the Western Australia state government announced Tuesday.
The tournament's future in Perth had been in doubt due to uncertainty over the availability of the current venue.
But WA sports minister Sheila McHale said the event would remain at the Burswood Entertainment Centre for the next three years, before moving to the new Perth Arena when it is completed in 2011.
