April 10, 2015 00:00:00

The 4th Indo-Bangla Games scheduled to begin next month in Dhaka has been postponed, reports BSS.

Bangladesh Olympic Association Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza confirmed the news agency by saying that they have received a letter from the West Bengal Olympic Association (WBOA) Thursday to request them to postpone the Games.

He said the letter cited that WBOA treasurer Kamol Bhandari passed away on April 2 and due to other unavoidable circumstances they requested to postpone the Games.

Reza further informed that the new date would be announced later. Earlier, BOA decided to include ten disciplines - athletics, shooting, swimming, volleyball, badminton, boxing, football, kabaddi, gymnastics and weightlifting - in the fourth edition of the Games.
