Inter-Moral H\\\'ball Kathal, Padma, Jaba emerge champions

Kathal, Padma and Jaba teams emerged champions of their respective groups in the 2nd Inter Moral Handball Tournament beating their rivals in the finals at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city Friday, reports UNB.

In the final, Kathal outplayed Lichu by 23-11 goals in the Boys group; Padma defeated Surma 14-4 in the Mini Group; and Jaba beat Golap 10-9 in the Girls group.

In the day-long meet, all the three groups comprised four teams each.

Boys Group: Aam, Jaam, Kathal and Lichu; Girls Group: Golap, Jaba, Bakul and Shapla; and Mini Group: Padma, Meghna, Jamuna and Surma.

Bangladesh Handball Federation general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners.
