The Private University Football Tournament, organised by Auritro and sponsored by Mentors' Education, gets underway at Bangladesh Army Stadium in the city today (Sunday).
Northern University will take on North South University in the opening match with National Sports Council secretary Akbar Hossain declaring the meet open, reports bdnews24.com.
A total of ten universities, split into three groups, will play the group-phase matches and later top two teams from Group A along with two champions from Group B and Group C will qualify for the semifinals.
