ITF Asian U-14 Tennis begins today

A seven-member Bangladesh tennis team is scheduled to participate in Division-2 of the ITF Asian Junior Under-14 Tennis Tournament to be held in the Hoe Chi Minh city today (Sunday), reports UNB.

Fifteen countries -- Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, the Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and hosts Vietnam -- will compete in the two-week long meet.

Bangladesh team comprise of three boys, three girls and one non-playing captain.

Players of the Bangladesh team: Rakib Hossain, Roman Hossain, Mehedi Hasan Alvi, Jerin Sultana Jolly, Mashfia Forin, Sraboni Biswas and non-playing captain Ahmed Ziaur Rahman.
