JFA women\\\'s football final round begins today

The final round of the eight-team JFA Under-14 National Women's Football Championship begins today (Saturday) with Mymensingh DSA taking on Dinajpur DSA in the opening match at 2:45 pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports UNB.
Satkhira DSA will face Khulna DSA in the other opening day's fixture at 4:20pm at the same venue.
Eight qualified district teams, split into two groups, will take part in the final round at two venues -- Bangabandhu National Stadium and BFF Artificial Turf -- on July 25-30.
Participating teams: Group A - Mymensingh, Satkhira, Khulna and Dinajpur DSAs.
Group B - Narayanganj, Rangpur, Tangail and Rajshahi DSAs.
Later, two top teams from each of the groups will play in the semifinals on July 31 while the final match will be held on August 2 at 4:30 pm.
Deputy Chairperson of the BFF women's committee Mahfuza Akhter Kiron disclosed this at a press conference at the BFF House on Thursday. BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag also spoke on the occasion.
Women's committee members Mahbuba Karim Mini, Ayesha Zaman Khuki, Lajuk Karim Kushturi and Nasrin Akhter Baby were also present on the occasion.
