Jurain Janata Club of Jatrabari defeated Swatirtha Club by 37-19 goals in the match of Marcel LED Television 1st Division Handball League at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Jurain JC dominated the first half by 20-8 goals. Shanewaz scored 13 goals for the winners while Halirum scored 10 goals for the losers.
Today's (Friday's) match: Jurain JC vs Star Sports at 3:00 pm; Swatirtha Club vs Quantum Foundation at 4:15 pm.
