Khelaghar SKS rout Dhaka Cricketers by 9 wkts

Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity notched an emphatic nine-wicket victory over Dhaka Cricketers in a 40-over match of the Metropolitan Women's Cricket League at Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, reports UNB
Dhaka Cricketers elected to bat first after winning the toss and were dismissed cheaply for 52 runs in 30.2 overs.
Opener Kshama Biswas (11) was the only double digit scorer for her side.
Yamim Rupa claimed 4 wickets for 7 runs and was later adjudged player of the match.
Sanjida Islam took two wickets for 9 runs while Sumona Akter and Puja Das took one wicket each for 7 and 8 runs respectively.
Chasing 53 runs, Khelaghar SKS easily reached the target in 6.4 over losing one wicket.
Skipper Ritu Moni scored unbeaten 32 runs with seven fours while opener Sanjida Islam added another unbeaten 7 runs.
Rumi Akter took the only wicket for 14 runs.
In the day's other fixture at BKSP ground-3 in Savar, Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Kalabagan Krira Chakra by 6 wickets in the rain interrupted match (D/L method).
Batting first after winning the toss, Kalabagan KC scored 106 for all in 38.2 overs.
Skipper-cum-opener Ayesha Akter contributed team highest 39 runs off 55 balls with four fours and a six while Lili Rani and Salma Akter scored 28 and 11 runs respectively.
Tazia Akther grabbed two wickets for 15 runs and later she scored unbeaten 23 runs for her side to be adjudged player of the match.
Rumana Ahmed and Sathira Zakir took two wickets each for 16 runs.
Chasing 107 runs, Mohammedan SC scored 35 runs for 2 wickets in 4.2 overs before the rain started at 12:52 pm. The target then was revised (104 in 37 overs) as per D/L method.
Mohammedan SC resumed their innings at 1:30pm and reached the revised target for 4 wickets in 19 overs.
Tahin Tahera scored team highest unbeaten 26 runs with four fours while Rumana Ahmed added 19 runs.
Boby Saha, Lili Rani and Khadeza Akther China took one wicket each for 20, 29 and 31 runs respectively.
