Khulna DSA emerged champions in the 29th National Cricket Championship beating Rangpur DSA by 21 runs in the final at Jessore Stadium Thursday, reports UNB.
Sent into bat first, Khulna DSA scored 226 runs for six wickets in stipulated 50 overs with Ashrafunnabi scoring 57 runs. Sakib and Monty captured two wickets each for 24 and 44 runs respectively.
In reply, Rangpur DSA were all out for 205 runs in 45.3 overs with Salahuddin making 41 runs.
Mosaddin claimed three wickets for 35 runs while Abu Zafar and Kazi Shamim bagged two wickets each for 27 and 36 runs.
Mosaddin of Khulna was adjudged man of the match.
