Lalbagh Sports Club earned a 3-2 victory over Gazirchat Sports Club in the Metropolis third Division Football League at the Outer Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
Mohammad Imran Hossain struck twice for the Lalbagh Sports Club in the 41st and 44th minutes while Mohammad Sanwar netted the other in the 54th minute. Akhtaruzzaman and Imran Ali scored one goal each for Gazirchat SC in the 13th and 23rd minutes.
At the Bir Shrestho Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Dhaka Junior SC beat City United Club by 2-0 goals. Arif and Saidur Rahman scored for the winners in the 10th and 66th minutes respectively.
In the day's other match, also at the same venue, Govt Printing Press played to a 1-1 draw against Kasaituli Samaj Kalyan Parisad. Bulbul scored for the Govt Printing Press in the 10th minute while Ahmed restored the parity for Kasaituli Samaj Kalyan Parisad in the 53rd minute.
