Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials said on Friday that T20I skipper Litton Kumar Das and pace bowler Taskin Ahmed will be unavailable for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe as they have been provided No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to take part in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), reports Cricbuzz.

Litton, who will miss the ongoing T20I series against Australia due to a muscle tear, is expected to play in the one-off Test match, while Taskin is expected to be part of the ODI squad, subject to his inclusion in the side that is yet to be announced.

"They (Litton and Taskin) are not part of the Zimbabwe T20Is as they have been given NOCs for the LPL," Shahriar Nafees, BCB cricket operations in-charge, confirmed to Cricbuzz on Friday.

"Apart from them, Mehidy Hasan, Hasan Mahmud and Shakib Al Hasan have also been given NOCs for the LPL," he added.

Taskin and Shakib will feature for Jaffna Kings, while Litton and Mehidy Hasan will represent Galle Gallants in the LPL, scheduled from July 17 to August 8.

Hasan, who is currently playing for Kent in county cricket, is expected to join Colombo Kaps before the start of the LPL.

BCB officials also added that the first batch of Test squad members will leave Dhaka on June 21, while others will join the touring party later.

BCB arranged a preparation camp in Sylhet for the Test squad members, but the cricketers failed to prepare as planned by the team management due to rain.
