Lopez beats Del Potro in Japan Open

TOKYO, Oct 4 (AFP): Feliciano Lopez ruined last year's US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro's latest come back game on Monday with a convincing first round victory at the Japan Open.
The 29-year-old Spaniard took 16 points in a row at the start of the second set to secure a 6-3, 6-0 victory over the Argentine in just 71 minutes.
It was Del Potro's second match after a wrist injury in January and followed another first-round defeat in the Thailand Open last week.
