Bangladeshi swimmer Mahfizur Rahman finished 39th among the 58 competitors with timing of 24.64 seconds in the men's 50 meter freestyle swimming of the 30th Olympic Games held at the Aquatic Centre in London Thursday, reports UNB.
Bangladeshi lone participant in the London Olympics swimming Mahfizur Rahman competes in heat number 4 and was placed 7th among the eight competitors ahead of Cook Islands Zachary Payne, who took 25.26 seconds.
George Richard Bovell of Trinidad and Tobago finished overall top in the heats clocking 21.77 seconds while Wilfried Tevoedjre of Benin finished overall 58th and last with a timing of 29.77 seconds.
