Khaled Mahmud, former Bangladesh captain and Noakhali Express head coach, walked out of his team's training session at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet on Thursday, citing displeasure over management, according to Cricbuzz.
Mahmud, who was accompanied by former national pacer and Noakhali Express pace bowling coach, insisted that he would not continue as head coach of the franchise.
"I will not do the BPL under any circumstances," Mahmud told reporters at the ground. "I have never seen this in the BPL," he added. Talha echoed the same sentiment. "I don't want to work. I don't know about you, Sujon( Mahmud) bhai, but I am not working," Talha said. Mahmud, who arrived at the ground with Noakhali Express at around 1:30pm on Thursday ahead of the BPL matches in Sylhet, suddenly drew all the attention as he and Talha walked away from the ground shouting with someone over phone at the other end. There were not enough balls for the practice session and Mahmud was utterly disappointed with the whole matter and had altercation with the owner of the Noakhali, who misbehaved with him when his attention was drawn regarding the matter.
