Mahmudullah, Mashrafe accorded reception

All-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad and pacer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza Tuesday were accorded reception at their respective home towns for their brilliant performance in the just-concluded ICC Cricket World Cup, reports BSS.

Mahmudullah Riyad was given a reception at his home town Mymensingh on the Mymenshingh Circuit House ground.

Mahmudullah is the first Bangladeshi cricketer to score century in ICC Cricket World Cup. He also scored back to back century in this format.

Organised by Mymensingh District Administration, the reception programme was sponsored by Pran Group.

Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman was present as the chief guest during the programme while State Minister for Social Welfare Advocate Promod Mankin, MP, was present as the special guest.

Meanwhile, Mashfare Bin Mortaza was also given a heroic reception at his home town Narail for his dynamic leadership in recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup.
