Opener Mehedi Maruf scored a brilliant ton saw Dhaka Metro remained on course as they finished their first innings at 299 for 4 in 66 overs at stumps against Rangpur Division after the second day's play of 7th or last round four-day 16th National Cricket League Tuesday on the BKSP ground no 2 in Savar, reports BSS.
Earlier, Rangpur Division resumed their first innings on the second day (Tuesday) with overnight score of 311 for 4 and finally all out for 491 in 111.2 overs.

On the other hand, Rajshahi Division faced serious batting debacle in their first innings as they scored 216 for 7 in 76 overs at stumps against Dhaka Division on the second day of 7th or last round four-day 16th National Cricket League Tuesday at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Earlier, Dhaka Division resumed their first innings on the second day (Tuesday) with overnight score of 279 for 7 and finally all out for 318 in 106 overs.

Earlier, Khulna Div Chittagong Div resumed their first innings on the second day with overnight score of 54 for 4 and finally all out for 369 in 88.1 overs in reply to a Chittagong Division's first innings total of 190.
