Mashrafe reappears in longer version today

Bangladesh ODI side skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is returning to the longer version cricket with Prime Bank South Zone. The team will take on BCB North Zone in the four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) 6th and last round match beginning at 9:30am today (Tuesday) at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, reports UNB.
Mashrafe is going to play in a longer version match after around a six-month break as he wants to keep himself always fit. He wants to give his best in the last match for South Zone. "I played two matches in the last season's National Cricket League (NCL) and will play one game in BCL. Basically, I want to keep myself fit taking part in longer version," the 34-year-old Narail Express told media.
"I always miss this format. There are a lot to learn for cricketers. It's not possible to play long time in other formats of cricket without playing in Test cricket. I'll play one game and will try to give my best," added the most inspiring cricketer of Bangladesh.
Mashrafe played last in longer version in the last season of the four-day National Cricket League (NCL). He played two matches for Khulna Division in September 2017 where he got five wickets in four innings conceding 119 runs in 33.3 overs with best 3/12 in an innings.
However, in another BCL fixture of the country's first-class league, Islami Bank East Zone will play Walton Central Zone at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi, also starting at 9:30am today (Tuesday).
