The 1st phase 4th round matches of the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 9th National Cricket League begins today (Saturday) with the six Divisional teams playing each other in the four-day affairs, reports UNB.
League leaders Rajshahi Division take on Khulna Division at the Bir Shrestho Matiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna, Barisal Division face bottom-ranked Sylhet Division at the Narayanganj Osmani Stadium, while holders Dhaka Division play Chittagong Division at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
On the following day (Sunday), the same teams will face each other in the one-day matches, also at the same venues.
On completion of the 3rd round, runners-up Rajshahi Division currently dominate the league table (with 38 points), followed by Khulna Division (33 points).
Barisal Division with 29 points is in 3rd position, ahead of holders Dhaka Division in the 4th slot with 26 points.
Chittagong Division is in the 5th position with 17 points, while Sylhet Division with 14 points remain at the bottom of the table.
