Minister hails Shakib, Salma

State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP, hailed ace Shakib Al Hasan who has topped the ICC ODI all-rounder list after the Test and T20I format, reports BSS.

The ace Bangladesh cricketer became the first player ever to top the charts in all formats.

According to the latest ICC rankings published Monday, Shakib is at the top of the all-rounders' lists in Tests, ODIs and T20Is with 398, 403 and 377 rating points respectively.

This comes as a reflection of his recent magnificent performances during home series against Zimbabwe last year.

He became only the third player in the history of Test cricket to take ten wickets and score a century in a Test match against Zimbabwe.

He had also captured four-wicket and hit a century in an ODI during the same series.

On the other hand, Biren also congratulated Bangladesh woman's team captain Salma Khatun who topped T20i all-rounder ranking.
