Mir Chess club takes solo lead in Chess League

Mir Chess Club took solo lead in the points table with maximum 8 points after the 5th round of the 2nd Division Chess League at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hallroom in the city, reports BSS.

Agrani Bank Limited Daba Dal, Sonargaon Chess Club and Chess Q are sharing the 2nd slot with 8 points.

In the 5th round games held Saturday, Mir Chess beat Agrani Bank by 3-1 points. Farhadur Imam, Anisuzzaman Jewel and Mohammad Serajul Kabir of Mir Chess won against Miniruzzaman Khan, Mukitul Islam Ripon and Jewel Khan of Agrani Bank respectively. Habibur Rahman Sohel of Agrani Bank beat Abdul Momin of Mir Chess.

Sonargaon Chess beat Asad Chess Club of Habiganj by 2-2 points and Chess Q beat Konika Sangskritik Sangha by 3-1 points.
