Mohammadpur, Ekota Sripur win

Mohammadpur Club and Ekota Sripur Samity made a good start in the Agrani Bank Dhaka Metropolis Table Tennis League that began Tuesday at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city, reports UNB.

Mohammadpur Club beat Lalbagh TT Club by straight 3-0 sets while Ekota Sripur Samity defeated Cynthia Sports Club, also by the same margin.

Earlier, Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu inaugurated the 17-day meet, organised by the Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF).

Chaired by BTTF president M Abdul Karim, the inaugural function was also attended by Deputy Managing Director of Agrani Bank Awal Khan and BTTF general secretary Khondakar Hasan Monir.
