Mohammedan, Bashundhara split point

Mohammedan Sporting Club split point with Bashundhara Kings when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in the group B match of Federation Cup Football held at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla on Tuesday, reports BSS.

In the day's match, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to break the deadlock lack of proper finishing.

With the day's outcome, the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan, standing second position in the points table, secured five points from three matches while Kings, stands fourth position in the table with two points playing two matches.

Meanwhile, as per the rescheduled fixture, Abahani Limited Dhaka will play against old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in their group A match on December 30 while Brothers Union Limited face PWD Sports Club on the same day at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital.
