Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) blanked Fortis Sporting Club by 4-0 goals in the second phase of ABG Bangladesh Premier League football that resumed at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Friday, reports BSS.
In the day's match, Uzbek midfielder Muzaffar Muzaffarov, Malian forward Souleymane Diabate, forward Jafar Iqbal and midfielder Shahriar Emon scored one goal each for Mohammedan who led the first half by 2-0 goals.
Muzaffar broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Mohammedan in the 41st minute while Diabate doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 45+1st minute of the match from a spot kick.
After the breather, Jafar further widened Mohammedan's margin scoring the third goal in the 53rd minute while Emon completed the winners' tally scoring the fourth goal in the 59th minute of the match.
With the day's victory, the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan secured 20 points from ten matches while Fortis Football Club remained at their previous collection of twelve points playing the same number of matches.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra split points with Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw in the second phase of ABG Bangladesh Premier League football that resumed on Friday at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj.
In the day's match, Guinean forward Sekou Sylla put Sheikh Russel ahead in the 23rd minute while after the breather Uzbek defender Shokhrukhbek Kholmatov restored the parity for Sheikh Jamal in the 56th minute converting a spot kick.
With the day's outcome, Sheikh Jamal secured 14 points from ten matches while Sheikh Russel bagged eleven points playing the same number of outings.
