Mohammedan, Brothers Union make winning start

Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) Limited got off to a flying start in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football thrashing Dhaka Wanderers Club by 6-0 goals held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur on Friday, reports BSS.
Souleymane Diabate scored a brace while Nigerian forward Sunday Emmanuel, midfielder Minhajul Abedin Rakib, Ghanaian midfielder Ernest Boateng and forward Sourav Dewan supported him with a lone goal each for Mohammedan in the one sided affairs.
Mohammedan took the lead early as Sunday Emmanuel scored the first goal in the 5th minute while Rakib doubled the lead scoring the second goal for Mohammedan in the 19th minute.
Diabate further widened the Mohammedan's margin scoring the third goal in the 24th minute while after the breather Emest joined the party scoring the fourth goal for the winning side in the 80th minute.
Diabate made the score line 5-0 scoring his second and fifth for his team in the 89th minute while Sourav completed the winners' tally scoring the sixth goal for Mohammedan in the 90+3rd minute of the match.
The traditional black and white Motijheel outfit completely dominated the entire proceeding and notched their deserving victory while Dhaka Wanderers Club was totally off-colored as the failed create any real move.
Mohammedan will play their next match against holders Bashundhara Kings on December 6 while Dhaka Wanderers Club will play their next match against Dhaka Abahani Limited on December 7. Both the matches will be held at at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stafdium in Cumilla.
Today (Saturday) two games of the Premier League will be held. In the first match Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society will meet Fortis Football Club at Birshreahtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj at 2.30 pm. Second match will be held between Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club vs Abahani Limited Dhaka at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur at 2.30 pm.
On the other hand, Brothers Union made winning start in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League Football beating Bangladesh Police Football Club by 2-1 goals held at Shaheed Birsahreshtha Flight Motiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday.
Gambian forward Maxi Cessay and his compatriot midfielder Zakaria Darboe scored one goal each for Brothers while Manik Hossain Molla netted a lone goal for Police FC.
The match was locked 1-1 at the breather.
Mady Cessay opened an account scoring the first goal for Brothers in the 23rd minute while Mollah restored the parity in the 44th minute of the match.
