Moroccan league violence leaves 40 fans injured

RABAT, Oct 7 (AFP): Violent clashes left around 40 fans injured at the Moroccan first division match between Kawkab Marrakech and Wydad Casablanca, local authorities reported Monday.
"Right after the match, stone-throwing and brawling supporters caused about 40 injuries, some of them serious," a statement by the authorities said.
