M’sian Perak FA to participate in Friendship Cup soccer

Leading Malaysian Football Club, Perak FA, has confirmed participation in the Friendship Cup Football Tournament beginning in Dhaka on November 28, reports UNB.
Perak State FA team, which finished runners-up in this year's Malaysian super league, will be the third foreign team to participate in the soccer meet, also involving Kolkata Mohammedan SC and Friends Club of Nepal.
Dhaka Abahani Limited and Mohammedan SC will be the two local teams to participate in the five-team meet Nov 28-Dec 10.
Meanwhile, the first meeting of the Friendship Cup Football Organising Committee was held Tuesday at the NSC conference room with its chairman Kazi Shahed Ahmed in the chair.
BFF President SA Sultan, Harun-ur-Rashid, Aminul Islam Khan, Wali Ullah, Anjan Chowdhury Pintoo, Monir Ahmed, Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan and Badal Roy attended the meeting.
The meeting requested the National Sports Council, Bangladesh Olympic Associa-tion and Bangladesh Football Federation to enhance facilities and renovate flood light, scoreboard, stadium gate, bathroom, dressing room, playground and gallery before the tournament to attract the football fans.
The meeting has also given the responsibilities to its chairman and co-chairmen to take decision regarding inclusion of Dhaka Muktijoddha SKC and Khulna Abahani KC in the meet and to form different sub-committees.
