MSC clinch Club Cup Hockey title

Mohammedan Sporting Club clinched the title of the Dhaka Bank Club Cup Hockey beating Usha KC by 4-2 goals in the final at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city Friday, reports UNB.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith was the chief guest in the final and later distributed the prizes. Bangladesh Hockey Federation president Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman and general secretary Khondaker Jamil Uddin were present.
With the win in the day's final, the traditional Mohammedan SC lifted the title highest four times since the inception of the tournament in 1997. In the day's match, Mamunur Rahman Chayan, Ariful Haque Prince, Chua Bun and Rahul Kanti Roy scored one goal each in the 12th, 16th, 34th and 46th minutes respectively for the winners, who led the first half 3-2.
Maksud Alam Habul and Mostafizur Rahman netted one goal apiece for the losers in the 9th and 18th minutes.
