MSC reach final of Women's Club Cup Cricket

Mohammedan SC reached the final of the Women's Club Cup Cricket Tournament beating arch-rivals Abahani Limited by 34 runs in the 2nd semifinal at the Gulshan Youth Club ground Saturday, reports UNB.
Mohammedan SC will play the final on April 28 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur against Bangladesh Ansar & VDP team, which earlier booked the final berth eliminating BKSP by 48 runs in the first semifinal on Friday.
Batting first after winning the toss in the day's match, Mohammedan SC scored 197 for 5 in 40 overs with Rumana Ahmed contributing 86 runs and Salma Khatun 49 runs.
Jahanara Alam grabbed two wickets for 43 runs.
In reply, Abahani Limited were dismissed for 163 runs in 39.3 overs with Jahanara Alam and Sharmin Akhter both scoring 33 runs each.
