Murray optimistic about Wimbledon

Andy Murray will play at Wimbledon providing he feels no ill effects after a final practice session Sunday, reports BBC.
The British number will make a final decision Monday, but hopes he has made a full recovery from a wrist injury after five weeks out of action. Murray injured tendons in his right wrist in Hamburg last month, forcing him to miss the French Open and Artois Championships.
"The doctor says I'm not going to re-injure it, he is very confident about that, so it is just a case of whether I feel I am able to go out on the court and give a good account of myself," he told BBC Five Live.
"I feel the way I have been practising I should be able to do that."
The 20-year-old played three sets with Alex Bogdanovic on Saturday, and was planning a practice session with another Briton, Jamie Baker, Sunday before a final workout with his coach Brad Gilbert.
"He'll be in a better position to make a decision after that," his mother, Judy Murray, told BBC Five Live's Sportsweek.
"But he has got a long career ahead of him and at this stage he would be silly to take any risks.
"The injury doesn't affect any of the other shots, only his forehand, but obviously that is a huge part of his game and he has to be able to hit through that to create an impact."
The 20-year-old has been drawn to play Ecuador's Nicolas Lapentti in the first round at Wimbledon and is scheduled to be third on Court One.
But he says he will only play if there is no risk of inflaming his injury.
"It's not that hard a decision to make. If I'm not fit and not 100 per cent, then I won't play. I won't stress about it. If my wrist is not right, it's not right."
Greg Rusedski, who retired recently, said Murray's injury may help to deflate expectations surrounding the Scot.
"For any British player it is very difficult having to deal with all the expectation and pressure at Wimbledon, and right now Andy is our true hope to win the tournament," he added.
"But he has handled it well in the past and hopefully he can find a way to deal with this whole situation.
"The injury might actually help, if he comes in 100 per cent fit, because he won't have so much pressure."
