WIMBLEDON, Sept 21 (AP): Andy Murray repeated his US Open victory over Jurgen Melzer Sunday, beating the Austrian in four sets to bring Britain level at 2-2 in a Davis Cup World Group playoff match at Wimbledon.
The Scot, who came from two sets down to beat Melzer and eventually reach the US Open final two weeks ago, this time won 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 in Court No. 1 at the All England Club.
Murray's win hands teammate Alex Bogdanovic a chance to capture a World Group spot for Britain by beating Alexander Peya later Sunday.
Murray was rested for Saturday's doubles which Austria won to take a 2-1 lead.
