Mushfiqur passes Shakib in ICC Tests batsman ranking

Bangladesh cricket team skipper Mushfiqur Rahim has overtaken Shakib Al Hasan in the ICC Test batsman ranking list after making his 3rd Test century on September 8 against West Indies at Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St Vincent, reports UNB.
The Bangladesh captain scored unbeaten 48 runs in the first innings and made a century scoring 116 runs in the 2nd innings against West Indies in the first Test of their two-match Test series.
Mushfiqur advanced 8 steps to be ranked 30th in the list while Shakib Al Hasan is in 32nd.
The Tigers captain scored total 2337 runs in the Test format with 34.35 average run rate playing 39 Tests and scored three centuries and 13 half-centuries.
Mushfiqur earlier touched the individual milestone of double centurion in a Test match for Bangladesh made at Galle, against Sri Lanka, on March 11, 2013.
