Bangladesh pace spearhead Mustafizur Rahman will miss the entire 2026 season of The Hundred in England after suffering a hamstring injury, reports BSS.
Mustafizur was signed by Birmingham Phoenix for this year's tournament, which began on July 21. However, the franchise confirmed in a Facebook post on Thursday that the left-arm pacer has been ruled out of the season because of the injury.
Popularly known as the "Cutter Master," Mustafizur was picked by Birmingham Phoenix for his base price of £100,000 at the player auction held in March.
He sustained the hamstring injury during the first ODI against Zimbabwe earlier this month after bowling six overs. The injury also forced him to miss the remaining two matches of the three-match ODI series.
Birmingham Phoenix are yet to announce a replacement for the Bangladesh fast bowler.
