Narinda Jr Lions, Araf SC meet in final today

Narinda Junior Lions Club and Araf Sporting Club meet in the final of the Dhaka City Corporation (North & South) Pioneer Football League at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city today (Monday), reports UNB.
The match will kick-off at 4:30 pm. Narinda JLC confirmed the final berth defeating Kollol Sangha, Chittagong by 4-2 goals in the first semifinal on May 25 at BNS while Araf SC reached the final beating Tangail Football Academy 3-2 in the 2nd semis on May 26 at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
The champions will receive Tk 100,000 as prize money along with trophy while the runners-up will get Tk 50,000 with trophy.
Besides, player of the final, player of the tournament and the highest scorer of the tournament will receive special prizes.
All the spectators of the final match will get at least 10 gift items from sponsors Walton. Entry to the galleries will be free.
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distribute prizes among the winners.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports and chairman of the Pioneer Football League Committee Arif Khan Joy will preside.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Kazi M Salahuddin, Vice-president Badal Roy, Additional Director and head (games & sports) of the meet sponsor Walton (RB group) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar will be present.
