Nat’l School Hockey opens

First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey Tournament- 2014 was inaugurated by International Hockey Federation President Leandro Negre at the Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city Saturday.

The First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey Tournament inaugurated at the Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city Saturday, reports BSS.

International Hockey Federation president Leandro Negre formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest. A total of 102 schools from across the country were taking part in the meet. The matches of the championship are being held at ten different venues across the country.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder and First Security Islami Bank Limited Managing Director AAM Zakaria were present as the chief guest and special guest respectively. In the day's opening exhibition match, PM Pilot School, Zingira and Fatullah Pilot School played out to a 1-1 goal draw.
