National footballers returned Tuesday after their disappointing performance in the away match of the 2010 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers conceding 0-5 goals defeat against Tajikistan in Dushanbe Sunday, reports UNB.
Bangladesh, which played to a 1-1 draw against Tajikistan in the home match in Dhaka on October 8, needed at least a 2-2 draw in their away match to qualify for the next World Cup qualifying round, but failed miserably.
On arrival at the Zia International Airport, Bangladesh skipper Hasan Al Mamun told the reporters that they failed to play their natural game due to bad weather.
