National league cricket begins today

The first round of the four-day matches of the 11th National Cricket League begins today (Thursday) at three separate venues across the country with three matches slated for the opening day, reports BSS.
Rajshahi Division will take on Sylhet Division at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium (KSOA), Fatullah.
Khulna Division play Dhaka Division at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium (SKS), Rajshahi; and Barisal Division meet Chittagong Division at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium (SANS), Khulna.

The second round four-day matches will be held on January 20-23 - Rajshahi Division play Chittagong Division at BKSP in Savar; Khulna Division face Sylhet Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium, Bogra; and Barisal Division take on Dhaka Division at SANS, Khulna.
The league was earlier scheduled to begin on January 1, but the fixture was rescheduled by the league committee because of the tri-nation tournament.
