EXIM Bank 34th National Men's Handball competition begins today (Saturday) in the city, reports BSS.
Maldives handball president Ahmed Mujtoba is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
Sajib Banerjee, senior vice president of corporate affairs and branding and marketing division and development division of EXIM Bank Limited PLC will be as the special guest.
Bangladesh Handball Federation's (BHF) president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony which will be held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
A total of 34 teams -- thirty one district sports associations and three services teams -- will compete in the meet, sponsored by EXIM Bank Limited and organised by BHF.
