National women's handball deferred by 13 days

The final round of the Exim Bank 19th National Women's Handball Championship, scheduled to begin Tuesday at Mirpur Indoor Stadium, has been deferred by 13 days, reports UNB.

The four-day final round of the national handball meet will now kick off on June 30 at the same venue. ATN Bangla will telecast live the opening match, two semi-finals, final and the third-place-deciding matches.

A total of 12 teams, including last champions BJMC, runners-up Ansar & VDP and Dhaka DSA will play in the final round along with nine qualified teams--Rajshahi, Joypurhat and Tangail (Rajshahi zone), Narail, Faridpur and Jessore (Bagerhat zone ) and Khagrachhari, Rangamati and Chittagong (Bandarban zone).
