The NRB Commercial Bank 41st National Athletics Championship, organised by Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF), began at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city on Friday, reports UNB.
President of the Asian Athletics Association General Dahlan Al Hamad, also the Vice President of International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), inaugurated the three-day meet in the afternoon. BAF President ASM Ali Kabir was also present on the occasion.
Eleven events were finalised on the first day (Friday).
