DUBAI, Sept 19 (Agencies): Brazil star Neymar made his first start for Al-Hilal on Monday night but the Brazilian found himself hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons once again.

The former Barcelona and PSG man had an evening to forget as his side were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Uzbekistani side Navbahor in their AFC Champions league opener.

He made little impact and the frustration clearly got the better of him as he was involved in an incident with one of the opposition players.

Neymar was seen shoving the player to the ground before purposely kicking the ball at him as he lay there.

It came after the forward, who has just returned from injury, had been on the receiving end of a poor challenge from the Navbahor man.

Neymar was lucky to escape with just a yellow and his side were able to salvage a draw deep into injury time.

Neymar, signed last month from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported €90 million, was making his first start for the record Asian champions having debuted on Friday as a substitute in the Saudi Pro League victory at home to Al Riyadh.
