National Sports Council (NSC) handed over the document of khas land to the Bangladesh Football Federation Monday to build the training centre, reports UNB.
NSC Secretary Aminul Islam handed over the document of four-acre khas land in Barisal to BFF acting General Secretary Manjoor Hossain Malu.
"We have another four-acre land in Cox's Bazar for the training centre," Malu told reporters at his BFF office in the afternoon.
The training centre will be a one-storied building and a playground, he said adding, "The centre will be further developed later".
BFF has decided to build two training centres for the development of football. The project will be financed out of FIFA fund of US$ 2.50 lakh.
